When we allow the heart a place in our
lives, an attitude of compromise, the
flexibility of "give and take," is born in us.
With the power of discrimination, expansiveness and a spirit of compromise will naturally arise. Today people's intellects stay solely within the confines of their self-centeredness; their power of discrimination has not been developed. This is a great deficiency in people's lives. It is difficult for society to progress without compromise. The spirit of compromise
leads to peace.
