Poem One

I am no mystic, but a man who by the grace of the Creator, sees the world in its entire splendor, and all its fallacies; a man who craves the reconciliation of his brethren so even the most minuscule of differences are celebrated. I fear though that this joy is so out of reach that I will be with the angels for my eternal rest, before this hope is fulfilled. Shall I fall on my knees and beg you my brother for your blessing? Shall on my knees I beg you for your Love? My God deliver me from the clutches of man, for its absence of love destroys the majesty ofyour realm, and I see darkness and iniquity swallowing us all in
its void, except that we turn our lives to serve.
